The streets of Greensboro Borough will be swept on Monday, April 22, 2024. To ensure that all streets are cleaned properly, street parking will be prohibited on Monday, April 22, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Pursuant to Greensboro Borough Ordinance No. 2023-06, street parking: 1) on the East side of Front Street between Clear Street and County Street, 2) on the South side of County Street between Front Street and the Monongahela River and 3) on the South side of Diamond Street between Second Street and the entrance of the Veterans of Foreign Wars parking lot on April 22, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. will result in a $40.00 fine which will double if not paid within five (5) days.

Pursuant to Greensboro Borough Ordinance No. 2023-06 and Ordinance No. 2023-11, street parking on all other public streets is prohibited and will result in a civil penalty of $600.00 issued on April 22, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 pm.

This notice provides you with ample time to plan for alternative parking measures.

The Greensboro Historic District

The historical district is comprised of 29 historic buildings, as well as the wharf, built around the time of the Civil War, and an archaeological site containing the location of the James and Hamilton Company pottery works.
